Thought you might like to see a pic of the real girls. That's Marsha P. Johnson (the P stood for "pay it no mind") on the left and Sylvia ("hell hath no fury like a drag queen scorned") Rivera above. Sylvia is wearing a button bearing Marsha's picture. She always wore it and swore never to take it off until the city opened an investigation into Marsha's murder. That death still stands in the NYC books as a suicide.
